Experts in Breastfeeding Support

While breastfeeding is natural, it doesn’t always come naturally. It is a learned art. At Omaha Birth & Babies, we know that mothers who feel informed and supported are more likely to have a successful breastfeeding experience. We are committed to a personal and thoughtful approach to achieving your breastfeeding goals and enjoying the journey.

What can you expect from our experts?

Classes that provide comprehensive information, demonstrations, tips and tricks. Partners are included so that they are prepared to assist and support.

From latch assessment and weighted feeds to working through physical and emotional obstacles, our experts are here for you, where you need them, conveniently in your home with individualized care for the level of support you need.

What is the difference?

A CLC and an IBCLC are both equipped to assess, educate and counsel. A CLC is able to assist with latching, breastfeeding positions, advice on pumps and pumping, returning to work and weaning, and the normal course of breastfeeding. An IBCLC provides all of the above with specialized training to assist with complications outside the normal course of breastfeeding such as poor weight gain, use of a nipple shield, diagnosing a tongue tie, low milk supply etc.

Not sure if you need a CLC or an IBCLC for your breastfeeding concerns? Contact us today and we can help determine your needs.

We’d love to walk you through our process and show you how we can support you.
