Danielle
Certified Postpartum Doula
Certified First Aide and CPR
Certified Breastfeeding Counselor

Hi my name is Danielle, for as long as I can remember I have loved taking care of babies of all kinds. My love of mothering was as natural as breathing to me. I have always been happiest taking care of babies, and their Mamas.
By becoming a doula, for both birth and postpartum, I am able to support and serve women during a time that is both vulnerable, and beautiful. It is truly an honor to be present during such a miraculous time. As a certified breastfeeding counselor, I bring almost 19 years of breastfeeding experience. I am excited to bring my experiences of motherhood into this new path of being a doula and a breastfeeding counselor.
I have found that every birth experience has a unique and beautiful story behind it. Each of my nine births were as different as each of my children. I look forward to serving other women in their own unique journey to becoming mothers.
I was born and raised and lived most of my life in the Midwest, but after becoming a military wife, we were blessed to have moved and lived in many
different places. I love to travel and meet new people and I can’t wait to have the opportunity to meet new and expecting mothers.
My favorite kind of days are full of good coffee, time on the porch with our wonderful dogs, watching our crazy chickens as my children and grandchildren play. Family is and always has been my favorite place to be. With 9 children and soon to be 5 grandchildren my heart is full and on the best days so is our house. Life is beautiful. My favorite quote by Mother Teresa says “ The problem with our world is that we make our family circle too small.” I believe that family is just a group of people that love and serve one another.
Omaha Birth & Babies Doulas are proud to be a pillar in our community and a reputable resource for expectant families!
Check out what one of Danielle’s clients had to say about her.
My husband and I hired Danielle to work as a nighttime Doula for our third son, Oliver, when he was approximately eight weeks old. My husband and I were exhausted from caring for a newborn and raising two preschool age children. During our first meeting with Danielle, she exhibited a warmth and knowledge that immediately put us at ease. Danielle always arrived on time and never missed an appointment. During the four months that Danielle cared for all of her, she truly went above and beyond for Oliver and our entire family. I felt instantly relieved when Danielle arrived each night, as I knew, Oliver would be well cared for, and in excellent hands. Danielle cared for Oliver without complaint when he woke numerous times throughout the night, even playing with him at 1 AM and walking him around for hours when he was sick or had stomach pains. When Oliver turned five months old, Danielle patiently worked with Oliver on gentle sleep training. Oliver always had the biggest smile when he saw Danielle each night. Danielle also bestowed her kindness, knowledge, and patience on me during my delicate postpartum period. Danielle shared her extensive expertise by offering, helpful parenting advice for Oliver. When I struggled with personal issues, Danielle arrived early, sat with me, and talked with me for two hours. Danielle provided a source of strength, love, and advice during my postpartum period. I am so thankful to have found Danielle and had her support during this time in my life. I cannot speak highly enough of Danielle or recommend her enough.
