Certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula
Certified CPR & First Aid

To know Kara means to know the worlds sweetest person. Her kind eyes, listening ears, and loving heart is what makes her family, friends and clients feel so special and secure when they are around her. Kara has known for a really long time she truly enjoys supporting and caring for people. She spent four years as a special education para educator and was even awarded support staff of the year.

Kara found out during her three very births and postpartum experiences that mothers need to be cared for and supported while they heal from birth and begin their parenting journeys. She knows from personal experience that bringing a baby home can be overwhelming and that having a gentle expert walk along side of you can make all the difference with a mothers confidence, breastfeeding relationship, and the unknown emotions that follow days to weeks after baby is born.

As a doula, Kara uses her kind heart to care for new mothers, her two decades of parenting experience and her unbiased education to instill confidence and her gentle and laid back nature to listen to what exactly each family needs to
make their postpartum experience something to cherish forever.

Kara has lived in the Omaha Metro area her whole life. In 2000 Kara married

her husband and best friend. Together they have three loving, fun and spunky children ages 18-8. Kara is a proud military mother and has a special place in her heart for those serving our country.

Omaha Birth & Babies Doulas are proud to be a pillar in our community and a reputable resource for expectant families!
