Maggie

Postpartum & Infant Care Doula
ARNP-NP, FNP-C
Certified CPR & First Aid

Maggie has a strong passion in caring for others, whether that is in her role as a doula, mother, or nurse practitioner. She has always loved caring for newborns and young children. Growing up, she was known for her gentle touch, warm embrace and ability to easily soothe a baby.

Becoming a mother herself is what sparked Maggie’s desire to become a Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula. She considers it a privilege to work as a doula and to share in these intimate moments with her clients.
As your doula, Maggie understands how complex, yet unique and special, the postpartum period can be for all members of a growing family. Her ability to offer non-judgmental and unbiased support and guidance can be felt by everyone in the room. She will act as a listening
ear and a supportive hand for you and those around. She strives to lift women up and help them find their strength and confidence in the postpartum period and beyond. Maggie understands the importance of having an open and honest relationship with those around her
and will seek to foster this when working with your family.

Maggie recognizes how a new mother’s postpartum recovery can be vastly impacted by the method in which a baby is delivered. She offers a unique perspective in postpartum recovery through her own first-hand experience in both medicated and unmedicated vaginal deliveries, cesarean recovery, and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).

Outside of her work as a doula, you can find Maggie spending time with her husband and three young boys. She enjoys physical fitness, and is a kickboxing and strength training instructor at a local gym. While working as a Nurse Practitioner in a Level 1 Trauma center, Maggie prides herself on being detail oriented, proactive, and compassionate when caring for others. With a
high sense of integrity, Maggie seeks to provide you and your family with this same level of compassionate care.
