Postpartum Doulas

They are very professional while being relaxed, relatable, and soothing all at the same time. The postpartum time for a woman is so challenging--you are vulnerable, emotional, hormonal, scared, excited all at once. Shannon has helped me gain my confidence in myself in becoming a mom of two little ones under 3 while simultaneously allowing myself to heal, grow, and thrive. Every new mom (or new mom again) needs a doula, and you need one from Omaha Birth and Babies! If we decide to have more babies, I will be hiring them for birth care in the hospital as well as postpartum care.

Omaha Birth & Babies is a terrific organization. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about the support and care both management and their doulas offered our family. We have taken advantage of night doula services for our twin boys and our the two doulas we have worked with, Rhonda and Kimberly, were so incredibly helpful and experienced. They seem to magically get our boys to sleep, which is no easy feat. More importantly, it’s clear that the owners truly care about the services they are providing and are mission-driven rather than focused on profits. We are really so thankful for the care and support OB&B provided to our family shortly after we brought our twins home and as I dealt with a medical complication. If you are thinking about getting a postpartum doula, look no further!

I'm so glad I hired Omaha Birth and Babies for postpartum support. I had my second son five weeks ago. With my doula Brittany, I can eat a hot breakfast baby free, take a relaxing bath, rant about my strong dislike of the infant stage, receive reminders on infant care, and assistance with laundry. She even prepped Instant Pot freezer meals to ease my transition back to work. Highly recommend Omaha Birth & Babies.
